1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
“Life is short.” Sometimes, we can get wrapped up in things that makes us lose sight of the here-and-now and we waste time thinking about insignificant things. Life is too short… Tomorrow is not a guarantee. Always remember to cherish life’s moments and the people around you.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I am constantly striving to push myself and grow in ways I never imagined. I ask myself all the time “What if?” and love seeing how far I can push myself out of my comfort zone. Some of my greatest growth opportunities have come from moments where I didn’t know if I could do what I set out to do. Proving to myself that I am capable has really been a catalyst for me.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
If I were to teach something, it would be Arts/Crafts. My coworkers jokingly call me the “Creative Director” of our department. Years ago, I had a “craft cart” that I would store all of my craft supplies in our home. That turned into a “craft room” as I physically could not contain everything in a cart. I love crafting and being creative. I also love showing others how to tap into their creative brain.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
I am often reminded that age is simply a state-of-mind and not a number. If I didn’t know how hold I actually am, I would guess that I was 30. I’m young-at-heart and my love for all-things Disney shows my youthful side. I have also accomplished a lot in the last 10 years – Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, obtaining my dream job, and having our daughter (via gestational surrogate) after an almost 7-year battle with infertility.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
My husband and I both love the ocean and its surrounding waterways. Living in the Seattle Area, we are blessed to have Puget Sound at our disposal. We love taking our sailboat out for some relaxation on the water. If we’re lucky, we may even spot some seals, sea lions, or our Southern Resident Orcas. When seeking a more coastal vibe, the Washington Coast is where we like to get away for a weekend.
